3D Art

Stereograms let you see 3D objects within a picture. To see those 3D objects, you need to unfocus the picture and look at something in front or behind the picture. Sometimes, this isn't that easy. To make it more easier, you can use your finger as help. Just hold your finger somewhere between the screen and your eyes and focus just on your finger while you still see the picture. Move the finger for and backwards, until you see something in 3D.

For the following two pictures, you need to focus before the screen- otherwise you will see the depth of field will be inverted.. you see an engraving of the actual 3D object.

There is another method to make a 2D picture appear to be a 3D picture for the human eye- the technique to see the 3D pictures works quite similar like those for stereograms. You need to cross your eyes, so the focus point is somewhere in front of the picture.
