Thunder Bug

These creatures are hunters to be feared, using electricity to paralyze and kill their prey.
Little is known about how they actually produce these electric discharges, but it is believed that the red blister-like features are involved. Some believe that they actually don't produce the energy themselves, but rather store it. Indication that this theory might be true is the fact that these creatures gather at elevated locations during thunderstorms, potentially to collect the energy of the lightnings.
